What is a cough?

DURO-TUSS® BC FAQs
Butamirate Citrate (DURO-TUSS® BC) is a cough suppressant used in non-productive cough and stated to have central action.
The usual dose is 30 mg daily in 3 to 4 divided doses by mouth, or as prescribed by the physician. At least 8 hours between doses.
For adolescents over 12 years of age, 1 tablet twice daily; For adults, 1 tablet 3 times daily (to be swallowed whole).
If you miss the dose for the day just take the next dose and subsequent doses at the usual recommended schedule. Do not double the dose unless recommended by a physician.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use Butamirate Citrate unless recommended by the doctor.
